Create partnerships with universities
University chairs are fully integrated in the Corporate Social Responsibility policy (CSR) of BNP Paribas Fortis. As a bank and one of the most important employers of Belgium, our wish is to emphasize on education in the large sense of the word. We also want to keep a link with universities, the world of development and training, to establish bridges between the academic and the business world.
With the university chairs we permit the gathering of scientific research, education, and businesses, concerning new developments of interest for Belgian economy. Many events are organised with universities all along the chair: workshops, masterclasses, innovation cafes, guest lectures….
The bank supports currently 6 chairs in the following universities: KU Leuven, , Antwerp University, UCL and VUB.
