Who will be the artist to beautify our new headquarters?

Supporting artists is very important to us at BNP Paribas Fortis. This is why we are launching a competition — open for artists aged 25 and over — to decorate the two interior patios, open to the public, of our future head office. Do you have talent and ideas? Do you know an artist who might be interested? Read on!

The BNP Paribas Fortis Artistic Talent Award is part of our desire to promote contemporary culture and make it accessible to as many people as possible.

In the heart of Brussels

Our new head office is scheduled to open its doors in early 2022. We want this building located in the heart of the capital to be sustainable, accessible to the public and perfectly integrated into the urban landscape.

Help us make you known

With the BNP Paribas Fortis Artistic Talent Award, we want you to help us embellish our two patios, the Cour Horta and the Cour Isabelle. These two spaces will be open to the public from Monday to Friday, during office hours.

In other words: the chosen work will enjoy good visibility. Especially since our selection committee is composed of recognised professionals: Sophie Lauwers (Director of exhibitions in Bozar), Amaryllis Jacobs (Director of Maniera) and Mauro Brigham (of NC-Bham, in charge of the interior design of our new headquarters).

How to participate?

If you are an artist, of at least 25 years old, who has been working in Belgium for more than a year, you can participate in our competition – please make sure to read the rules first. Here’s what you’ve got to do: send the registration form, duly signed and completed, to our Art & History department by 15th February 2021, at the latest!

To understand in detail all the different stages of our great artistic competition, from the pre-selection of a few candidates to the final delivery of the work, scheduled for July, please consult the BNP Paribas Fortis Artistic Talent Award calendar.

70,000 euros for the winner

It should also be noted that each shortlisted candidate will receive 2,000 euros as an artistic bonus, to cover the costs incurred in the making of a model. The winner of the grand prize, meanwhile, will receive 70,000 euros for the production and installation of his/her work of art.

Supporting artists and the cultural world while strengthening our local roots; that too is Positive Banking.
