BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV has reached an agreement to sell its 3.1% participation in Euroclear (97,250 shares) to The Federal Holding and Investment Company (SFPI-FPIM). BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV is a stable shareholder of Euroclear since its incorporation in 1972. Through this sale to SFPI-FPIM, BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV ensures the continuity of the Belgian anchoring of the Euroclear shareholding. The completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the Board of Directors of Euroclear and customary regulatory approvals.
