For the fifth consecutive year, Expertise News, the reference newspaper for the Belgian commercial real estate market, has awarded BNP Paribas Real Estate the prize "Property Manager of the Year 2013 – Global Ranking" and the award "Property Manager of the Year 2013 – Offices Belgium".

With a management portfolio amounting to 2,052,251 m² and annual rental revenue of around 275 million euros, BNP Paribas Real Estate holds a share of 20% in the Belgian market. In the Offices segment the company’s share rises to 28%.

In 2013, over 10 million m² of commercial property in Belgium are managed by external management companies. Office buildings constitute the largest segment (58%), followed by retail (21%) and industrial (21%).

With 6 million m² of office space under management, however, this remains the country’s principal market ahead of commercial and semi-industrial property.
