Our selection process

We evaluate each candidate’s skills and qualifications objectively, transparently and fairly. Whether or not we decide to hire you, we will keep you informed of our decisions at each stage of the selection process. Depending on the job that you are applying for, the stages in the selection process may vary.


Application

Select the right position for you and send over your CV and cover letter via our digital platform. Our recruitment consultants will assess your application.

Online tests

If you are preselected, we will ask you to take our online tests in order to help us learn more about your personality and your strengths.

Telephone interview

If you pass the tests, a recruitment consultant will then invite you to take part in a telephone interview to evaluate your skills and reasons for applying for the role as well as identify your expectations. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, whether they are about the role or other practical aspects.

Interview

If you impress during your first interview, you will then be interviewed by the manager of the recruiting entity. You will discuss the role and the responsibilities attached to it, the working environment and your future team.

Hiring

If you are selected for the role, your recruiter will then make a salary proposal and discuss it with you. An employment contract will then be drawn up. You sign it and, just like that, you will be part of a changing world: welcome to BNP Paribas Fortis!

You are about to enter personal data that will be stored in a database.
Access to our database is strictly reserved for HR staff members in charge of recruitment and mobility within the BNP Paribas Group companies in France and internationally, and/or companies to whom recruitment activities have been subcontracted. Your data may also be transferred to the staff members in the team that posted the vacancy you applied to fill.
Using these data, we are able to verify the extent to which your profile corresponds to the vacancies at BNP Paribas Fortis.
 
Any job application made to BNP Paribas Fortis implies your unconditional and irrevocable agreement for any of your personal information to be viewed and processed and to be accessible to the public, and for any personal data, both private and professional, connected to any relationship you may have built with BNP Paribas Fortis whatsoever (customer, proxy, guarantor or beneficial owner of a customer, supplier, service provider, etc.) to be reviewed and processed.
 
The purpose of viewing and assessing the data is to verify your suitability as dictated by anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism legislation to which BNP Paribas Fortis is subject.
 
The application process takes around 10 minutes. You will need to respond to several questions and upload your CV. Enter your  e-mail address carefully as you will receive confirmation of your application to this address, along with your login details, which will enable you to keep your data updated on your candidate portal.
 
We store your data for 7 years. If you are hired, your data will be stored for 7 years after the end of the working relationship. At the end of this period, your data will be deleted from our database. In accordance with the Law on the protection of privacy dated 8 December 1992, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data*
